The Bars are Finally Open in Utah!!

Our accomplishments; The most sweeping changes in Utah's liquor laws in the last 40 years including; the elimination of the archaic Private Club system, fostering a positive relationship between the UDABC and licensees and establishing new case law involving licensee violations.

Our mission statement:

To provide a common voice for hotels, restaurants, taverns, social clubs and concerned citizens to reduce underage drinking in Utah as well as to make meaningful changes to Utah’s liquor laws, through the legislative and judicial processes, while balancing those advances with public safety issues.

About us:

The UHA consists of private citizens, including a lawyer, a former DABC
commissioner, a hotel administrator, owners of private clubs, other business
people, and a tourism official, who work together to fulfill the mission
statement of the UHA. Currently, they are pushing for regular strength beer available in kegs and wholesale liquor pricing for licensees.
